Here we are... another week... I have been throwing myself into my life these last few weeks. The school Castaway entries are coming on in leaps and bounds. Sooooo excited to be a part of the students amazing creative journeys. I managed to get two applications into Castaways last Friday, just before the 5pm deadline. One sculpture will be based on my 'Long Legged Birdies' I am very excited about this one and to help with dimensions, I drew a full sized version on to a wall at home.. I am now painting it!! The other sculpture I have put in is based on my Bloom sculpture... You will have to wait to see that one! Just holding my breath now, find out next Friday if I have one... or two ... or none accepted!
Today I enjoyed my 3 hours at CASM, Mandurah. The Wearable Art Exhibition is on for another few weeks, until 3rd July. It is definitely worth going to see.... in my slightly biased opinion!! My dress is hanging in the dark room and when the batteries are on full power it looks pretty good!
I have started collecting and preparing materials for next years Wearable Art... also put plans into Council for a workshop, this would be the cherry on my cake. Until next time my Funky readers... :)
