y30 April - 12 May 20-19 Claremont Town Centre presented 'Off the page'. An art installation inspired by books, paper and print through the streets of Claremont, WA. 15 national and international artists took part.
Following a little walking map, the public could wander the streets and visit all the sites. Jacqs piece 'Flock' was situated outside the popular Italian restaurant called Nolitas.
She created 10 recycled copper wire cages containing paper mache birds. The bases were old vintage children's books. They created a beautiful installation all together, hanging from the 'arms' of a giant permanent umbrella.

Jacq is currently working on some more of these to install in an exhibition at CASM in Mandurah at the end of June 2019. She will also be running a workshop in October where you can come along and create your own with step by step guidance. Please email jacq below for more info...
